Neolegal, a technology company offering legal services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean-François Pruneau to its Board of Directors.
Jean-François Pruneau was President and Chief Executive Officer of Videotron from January 2019 to June 2021, overseeing Videotron Business, Fizz, Videotron Le Superclub. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Québecor. He joined Québecor in May 2001, where he successively held the positions of Director – Corporate Finance, Assistant Treasurer, Treasurer and Vice President Finance for Québecor Media, Sun Media and Videotron. Prior to joining Québecor, he held treasury positions at BCE Media and Canadian National. He also worked as a lecturer at HEC Montréal. Jean-François Pruneau holds a Master’s degree in Finance (M.Sc.) from HEC Montréal and has been a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Order – Montréal Chapter (CFA Institute) since 2000.
Since 2012, he has chaired the board of directors and sits on the executive committee of the Sablon Foundation. Jean-François Pruneau was the winner of the 2015 Aces of Finance contest, organized by the Quebec Chapter of Financial Executives International Canada (FEI Canada), in the « Financial Executive of a Large Company » category.
